Adaptation
Exhibition proposal for June, 2010
Exhibition Statement:
Every person has a different perspective on their environment. From the banal to the sublime, all people see the objects of our world to personally define them in space. We as humans must make the choice to adjust the parts of life we are not content with or conform to our environment and accept things the way we are. Adaptation is both the process of altering the original form to be something new as well as adjusting yourself to fit the environment. Everyday we choose to adapt in these ways to our lifestyle, our surroundings, our society, our city. This photographic series is an adaptation of my vision of Tbilisi just as I have adapted to the effects of the city on me.
